Invent a conspiracy, and since there’s no proof of it, ask about it! Followers who believe you’re an authority will accept it as fact regardless of the fact that nobody ever said it happened.

@ We do permanently gain people each time though. I think our onboarding is rough enough that sometimes people just kinda bounce off. Each wave is another chance.
